CONCLUSION: At the topical level, the sources of Ali-Nameh proved more reliable than those of Khavaran-Nameh and were much in line with historical accounts. Linguistically, Khavaran-Nameh was richer in terms of word range and combinations, enjoying more coherent grammatical structures and fewer problems in rhythm and rhyme. At the literary level, too, Khavaran-Nemeh enjoyed more rhetorical and expressive figures of speech than Ali-Nameh.
